Q&A
What is this website for?
For trolling carnet staff, and hosting servers :3
Why carnet.lol specifically?
About half a year ago, a cool professor and I were going through a lesson on domains and networking. We got onto the topic of phishing, and just for a laugh I checked whether any 'CARNET-ish' domain was available. Fast forward to today: I stumbled onto this masterpiece. I was hunting for a cheap domain so my friends wouldn't have to type out an IP address every time it changed (for game servers)...
What are you going to use this domain for?
To host my cool blog, game servers...
DEFINITELY NOT for phishing since I dont want SOA to bust down my door at night. 😊
Can I join your game servers?
Yep, when they work tho xD... Head over to the "Servers :3" page for the ip adress and rules.
What is my beef with Carnet?
I could write for ages, but shortly said:
They or the goverment doesn't give a fuck about the infrastructure... (if it works for now, who cares)
1. Every time at the beggining/end of the school year, or when there is some tourtament... Their servers (potatos) start being overloaded and painfully slow / or timeout...
2. Data breaches, specificly the one by "INF group" shows that they are incompetent to keep our data safe.
3. The ammount of fucking spam/brainrot quotes (from Viva Engage) I get onto my schools email acc is mind blowing...
